My responsibilities included defining the concept of HVAC systems for projects and preparing all the required design documents, such as load estimation calculation reports, ventilation requirements, static pressure calculations, and balance procedure reports. Additionally, I was responsible for preparing the detailed Basis of Design Requirements (BODR) and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ). In addition, I was preparing the required drafts for the HVAC system. In addition, I oversee the coordination of the HVAC system's work with various disciplines, such as architectural, structural, and MEP design. Furthermore, I have the experience of submitting all electrical loads of the equipment in the HVAC system through calculations and detailed selection. That applies to all stages of work, from schematic designs to tenders and construction submissions.
My tasks include designing and selecting all mechanical systems related to the HVAC (design drawings, shop drawings, and calculations). Additionally, I am responsible for preparing the design drawings and layouts for various HVAC systems, including DX and chilled water systems. In addition, I carry out computations and prepare the necessary technical documents for design, such as estimating thermal load using the hourly analysis programme HAP, calculating static pressure and estimating the ESP of HVAC units, and creating a comprehensive bill of quantities (BOQ) for HVAC system design.
